Overview
AutoPilot Finance ("the App", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Data You Enter (stored locally only)
The App stores the following data exclusively on your device using local storage. This data is never transmitted to any server:
- Vehicle names, prices, and specifications you enter
- Loan calculation inputs and results
- Fuel cost calculations
- Affordability and depreciation calculations
- Maintenance service records and costs
- Calculation history
1.2 Advertising Data (Google AdMob)
The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect the following data to serve relevant advertisements:

AdMob data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Google's Advertising policies.
You can opt out of personalised ads by going to your Android device Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation, or by resetting your Advertising ID in the same menu.
1.3 Data We Do NOT Collect
- No name, email, or contact information
- No precise location data
- No camera or microphone data
- No contacts or calendar data
- No payment or financial account information
- No data is ever sent to our servers (we have no data servers)
2. How We Use Information

We do not use your data for any purpose other than providing the App's features and displaying ads.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your data. We do not share your locally stored calculation data with any third party.
The only third-party data processor is Google AdMob for advertising. No other third party receives any information about you.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
All data entered into the App is stored on your device and controlled entirely by you:
- To delete all data: Uninstall the App — all locally stored data is removed automatically.
- To delete specific records: Use the "Clear All" button in the History tab, or delete individual records with the trash icon.
We have no ability to delete data on your behalf because we never receive it.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through this App, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
For ad serving to children, AdMob is configured to request non-personalised ads only where required by law.
6. GDPR (EU/EEA Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights under GDPR:
- Right of access — You can view all data the App holds about you at any time (it's all on your own device).
- Right to deletion — Delete your data at any time by clearing records within the App or uninstalling it.
- Right to portability — Export your data via the PDF export feature.
- Right to object — Opt out of personalised advertising via your Android device settings.
The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request GDPR consent before displaying personalised ads in the EU/EEA. You may withdraw consent at any time through your device advertising settings.
Legal basis for processing: Legitimate interest (ad display to support the free app); Consent (personalised ad targeting in EU/EEA).
7. CCPA (California Users)
California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information is collected (see Section 1)
- Know whether personal information is sold (it is not)
- Opt out of sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
- Non-discrimination for exercising your rights

8. Data Security
All your calculation data is stored using Android's secure local storage, protected by your device's security (PIN, fingerprint, etc.). We apply no additional encryption beyond what the OS provides because we never receive the data on our end.
9. Third-Party Links
The App does not contain links to third-party websites. Ads served by AdMob may link to external sites; those sites have their own privacy policies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App is updated with new features. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
